In the news

Community Pulse findings have been published by major Australian media, with results shaping political and public debate in Victoria.

Herald Sun"Voters feel ignored by Allan government as thousands consider moving interstate" — 23 March 2026 A survey of 600 Victorians found half feel mostly or completely unheard by the state government, with one-third considering a move interstate. The findings were described by political commentators as a significant signal ahead of November's state election.

ABC Radio"Nearly two-thirds of Victorians back emergency fuel rationing" — 30 March 2026 Community Pulse data on Victorians' attitudes to fuel security and government-mandated rationing was covered across ABC Radio, drawing on the programme's monthly statewide sample.

What is Community Pulse?

Community Pulse is a recurring public opinion survey of Victorian adults, run monthly in partnership with The Agenda Group. Each wave captures how people feel about a current issue — from cost of living and energy to housing, transport, and community pride — and delivers findings fast enough to matter.

It's built for organisations that need research they can actually use: rigorous enough to withstand media scrutiny, packaged for communications from the outset, and delivered in days rather than weeks.

Every wave is conducted via nationally accredited online panels, weighted for age, gender, and location to reflect the Victorian population.

How does it work?

Each monthly wave follows a consistent, proven structure.

The base study captures a headline metric on a current community issue — one engaging "colour hook" question plus one client-nominated issue question. Results are delivered as toplines and key charts in PowerPoint and PDF, ready to share with media, stakeholders, or internal teams.

Sample options give you control over confidence levels and cost. We run at n=600 (±3.9%), or n=800 (±3.5%) — all with 7–10 day turnaround from fieldwork launch.

Add-ons let you go deeper when the issue warrants it: metro/regional geographic boosts, council cluster analysis, and additional questions can be appended to any wave.

Who uses it?

Community Pulse is designed for organisations that have something to say — and need independent data to say it credibly.

Current and typical users include local government and regional councils, not-for-profits working on policy issues, and PR and media agencies seeking timely, quotable findings.

If your organisation regularly engages media, government, or the public on issues of community concern, Community Pulse gives you a research backbone that's fast enough to match the news cycle.

Why Redge?

Traditional research takes weeks and costs accordingly. Redge was built to compress that timeline without compromising rigour — automated fieldwork monitoring, AI-assisted analysis, and templated reporting mean results move from survey close to your inbox in days, not weeks.

As Redge founder Anne-Marie Moir put it in the Herald Sun: "Nearly half of Victorians feel mostly or completely unheard — but when we asked people to imagine their ideal future for Victoria, the responses centred on affordability, safety, and community wellbeing. These aren't abstract aspirations. They're practical priorities."

Community Pulse turns that kind of insight into something your organisation can act on — and communicate — every single month.
