REDGE 2.0 · RESEARCH PLATFORM

Qual depth. Quant scale. Your judgement.

The full research platform with an AI interviewer built in. Script it, buy the sample, field it, probe it, report it — with the AI turned up, turned down, or turned off, question by question. Built and hosted in Australia.

Real exchange · Redge pilot study

“It was fine” is not a finding.

Most platforms record what a respondent types and move on. Redge follows up — with the probe you wrote, on the question that matters. This is an unedited exchange from a study fielded on Redge.

THE PLATFORM

Script it. Field it. Probe it. Report it.

One product, start to finish — including buying the sample. Not a form builder with an AI feature, and not an AI interviewer that can't run a quota.

01

Script

Proper fieldwork scripting

Eleven question types including video, matrix and rank. Sections, branch nodes, random splits and quotas — the things a real study needs and a form builder doesn't have.

02

Import

Your Word doc, wired

Upload the Word questionnaire you already wrote. Routing written in plain English is compiled into inspectable path records and drawn as a workflow graph you can check before you launch.

03

Field

Cost and buy the sample without leaving the study

Cint is integrated: specify the audience, see what it costs, buy it in-platform and go live. Or bring your own supplier — callback URLs, RID and SID tracking and quota-full redirects work the way you already expect.

04

Probe

Every open end, followed up

Write the probing brief yourself, question by question. Probe open ends, probe the reasoning behind quant answers, and close with a clarifier — the way a moderator would, not a generic chatbot.

05

Report

Themes, sentiment, summary

Coded themes, sentiment and AI executive summaries, with structured question-by-question exports that carry the AI prompts alongside the answers.

REDGE PLUGIN FOR CLAUDE

Or don't open Redge at all.

Install the Redge plugin for Claude and design, field and analyse a study by describing what you want. Say what you're trying to find out; get back a scripted, routed, quota'd instrument to review.

Nothing built this way is trapped in a chat window. It's a normal Redge survey — it appears in your survey list like any other, and you can open it, edit it and field it by hand at any point.

In development now. Not in the launch release.

/new-study
Builds a complete study from a research objective.

/check-study
Runs a full pre-launch review — routing, quotas, question order, the things that cost you sample when they're wrong.

/study-results

Reports on fieldwork in progress and on what the data is saying.

DESIGN PRINCIPLE

The AI is a setting, not a religion.

Every AI step in Redge is opt-in and inspectable. Let it draft your routing, or write the routing yourself. Let it probe every open end, or only the two that matter. Let it theme the verbatims, or read them yourself and use the platform purely as a scripting and fielding tool.

Researchers who've done this for twenty years get a faster version of their own process. Marketers who haven't get guardrails and a starting point. Same platform, different amount of help.

If you're a technical expert

Quotas, callback URLs, RID and SID tracking, quota-full redirects, random splits, ref-fed choices, LOI and drop-off analytics. Write the routing logic yourself and have it compiled and visualised so you can prove it works before it costs you sample.

If you've come from marketing

Start from your brief or an existing questionnaire, let Redge build the instrument, and review a plain-English map of what respondents will actually see. You keep the judgement calls; the platform handles the mechanics.

WHERE REDGE SITS

An AI survey platform built and hosted in Australia.

Between a survey tool that can't interview and an AI tool that can't field.

Classic survey platforms

Mature logic, quotas and panels — and an open end that stays a static text box. When a respondent types five words, nothing happens next.

REDGE 2.0

Full quant scripting and a moderator you brief per question. Word-doc import with compiled, inspectable routing. Cint sample costed and bought in-platform. Exports structured question by question, including the AI prompts — so the probed qual joins straight back onto the quant.

AI interview platforms

Genuine conversational depth, qual only — priced per session, on enterprise contracts, with no Australian hosting. And a black box at the end: what exports is a transcript, with no question-level structure to join back to your quant.

Australian, properly

All Redge data stays in Australia — AWS Sydney for managed research, Azure Australia East for the Redge platform. Never used to train public AI models.

Small means fast

Redge is built with agentic development and an autonomous release process. Feature requests and fixes routinely ship overnight. Ask for something on Friday, see it Monday.

Priced to be bought

Self-serve, transparent, no procurement cycle and no quote request. You can see what a year costs before you talk to anyone.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

What's in, and what's not in yet.

You're a researcher. You'd find this out anyway.

NOW

AI-moderated probing on open ends and on the reasoning behind quant answers, with a closing clarifier — in production, on every question type.

NOW

Document import with routing compiled into path records and drawn as a workflow graph.

NOW

Video stimulus and video response, with fast-forward disabled — ad and concept testing ready.

NEXT

More export formats — SPSS .sav and basic crosstabs, alongside today's structured question-by-question output.

NEXT

The Redge plugin for Claude — design, field and analyse by conversation. In development, not in the launch release.

LATER

SOC 2 / ISO certification and SSO. Not certified yet. Happy to walk through hosting, data handling and AI data-use in detail; certification follows enterprise demand.

NOW

Panel callbacks — callback URLs, RID/SID tracking and quota-full redirects. Bring your own sample source, or buy it in-platform.

NOW

Structured, auditable exports — question-by-question output including the AI prompts that produced each probe, not an undifferentiated transcript.

NOW

Buy sample inside Redge. Cint integration — purchase your audience in-platform and field without leaving the study.

NEXT

In-platform data quality — speeders, duplicates, AI-generated verbatims and supplier-level flags, productising QC that's done by hand today.

LATER

Voice-moderated interviews and multilingual. Text chat today: lower friction, higher completion, and a transcript you can code.

NOTE

Redge is a small team. That's the trade: no account manager, but the person who built it answers the email.

FOUNDING PRICING

A year of Redge costs less than a single enterprise onboarding.

Launch pricing is directional while the founding cohort is being set. What's fixed: it's self-serve, it's in AUD, and founding members keep their rate through year one.

  • Every plan includes a monthly allowance of completes
  • Unused completes carry forward — a quiet month isn't a wasted one
  • Sample bought through Redge from Cint doesn't count against your allowance
  • Agency tier adds seats, white-label branding and priority feature requests

FOUNDING MEMBER

from A$199 /month, billed annually

Rate locked for your first year. Places in the first cohort are limited by how many studies can be supported properly at once, not by an artificial cap.

Compare with managed research

I built this platform because I wanted the tool I couldn't buy: proper scripting and quotas, an interviewer that actually follows up on the answer that matters, and a price an independent practice can carry. If that's you, I'd like you in the first cohort. Tell me what you're trying to run and I'll tell you honestly whether Redge is ready for it.

EARLY ACCESS

Invite-only from late September 2026.

Tell me the study you'd run first. If it's a fit, you'll get access, founding pricing locked for a year, and a direct line to the person building the platform.
